Hugo Peel is an experienced business professional with core disciplines
founded in management consultancy and communications/branding. He has
held senior positions, or advised at a senior level, at the Government Property Unit, Ernst & Young,
Land Securities PLC, Goldman Sachs, Clifford Chance, Lend Lease Corporation, Bluewater, Kent County Council, Blue Circle plc, and Edelman PR Worldwide.
With early brand marketing training, he brought new approaches to property
marketing and PR at Knight Frank and Humberts, and was the co-founder
of ABS (property communications consultancy) and Professional Connections
(executive search). He has played a strategic role in the brand development,
communications and media relations of several major developments and economic
regeneration projects, including Kent Thameside, Bluewater, Crossways
Business Park – bringing value to property companies and to
local, regional and national government entities.
He has been the architect of the global PR and marketing of some of the
UK’s most celebrated landmarks – Lands End, John O’Groats
and Mount Snowdon – as well as tax free Channel Islands and international tourist destinations.
In the property, construction, development and real estate finance sectors,
Hugo brings experience, insight and strategic thinking at the point where
communications strategy interlinks with the design of business strategy
and the execution of significant new business initiatives.
He is Senior Partner of strategic communications
and holds executive and non-executive directorships at on-line recruitment
consultancy Asirt Ltd, and the green London taxi service Climatecars
Ltd, as well as roles in the charitable, leisure and sporting sectors.
