Robin Rogers has over 20 years'
experience in senior and international management assessment and executive
search. He began his career with the European Commission, then trained
and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross in London,
Brussels, Paris and Geneva. In his search career, he has worked with Whitehead
Mann Amrop, at Russell Reynolds where he was a Managing Director, and as a Partner
at STCP and 33 St James’s, the ‘new model for executive
search’. He is a graduate in Land Economy from Cambridge University.
His experience in the search industry has exposed him to a very wide
range of sectors. He has researched and delivered key appointments in
information technology, international real estate, banking and fund management, consumer financial services, B2B services, professional
services and the automotive
sector. It also includes a range of functions, top roles in finance, HR, IT, marketing, consultancy, M&A, as well
as a search universe which is inevitably cross-border.
From 2000 to 2001 he was also President of United Search Partners where
he built The Global Executive, a specialist cross-border practice, from
which evolved a consulting service DIGESS. Based on the firm’s
wide experience, this modelled best practice in international executive
search and reduced the risk to large corporations of conducting search
assignments in Asia, particularly China.
This perspective derived from exposure to the mix of clients and industries
has broadened into consulting projects that address strategic planning,
management assessment and organisation design.
